FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS!

LOL this is one of our favorite questions. We've had a lot of hilarious descriptors thrown around over the years....... "Plant Disco".. "Time Machine".. "Healing Vibe Vortex".. "Millennial Tractor Supply".. "An Immersive Experience"... hahaha.......

In all honesty though, Palm + Pine is a very meticulously curated houseplant & homegoods store. We carry plants, plant accessories, and magical goods to help you "Make Your Space Alive".

We also offer plant-related design and maintenance services and we love what we do! The design of our shop is always changing - we update the "theme" of the shop every season and since most of our inventory is living greenery, the shop vibe and layout can change day-to-day to keep a proper feng shui flow! We work hard to create a healing, inclusive, safe space that is as inspiring and beautiful as it is fun :)

The store is open:

Mon-Tues: CLOSED

Wed-Sun: OPEN 10-6pm

The retail shop is closed Monday and Tuesday but we are available to meet with clients by appointment only. If you would like to schedule a meeting or VIP shopping experience, call or email us:

We’re at 178-B Westwood Place Asheville, NC 28806 in a unique building on the corner of Westwood and Millbrook - tucked away in the West Asheville neighborhood just north of the Haywood Rd. main strip.

Yes! We have a small gravel parking lot on the side of the building. If those spots are filled up, please look for free street parking nearby. There are ample spots available along Westwood Pl.

Due to volume of messages received, we cannot guarantee responses to questions or business inquiries on instagram. Please instead email us at hello@palmandpine.com instead.

We source and hand-pick the healthiest, best plants we can find from a variety of different greenhouses and growers. There is never a guarantee that a greenhouse will have certain plants in stock. Plant inventories are always changing with the seasons and are often affected by popular retail demand. We are always working hard to have a fun, affordable, unique, and ever-changing inventory available to y’all !

We don't carry flowers, herbs, or outdoor landscaping plants. We specialize in indoor tropical and desert houseplants and other specially curated household objects to help you make your space alive!

Yes! We charge anywhere from $5 - $25 for potting fees depending on the size of your pot.

We offer free potting services if you buy a pot and a plant from us :)

Unfortunately, sick plants can easily spread bugs, bacteria, or mold to our healthy plants in the shop so we ask that you please not bring in a sick plant. You can make an appointment to have our Plant Dr. (Meghan) come to you and diagnose your plant in person or you can send an inquiry thru our Plant Dr. portal and get a thorough diagnosis with recommendations within a few days :)

We do! Our inventory is always changing, as we carry mostly handmade pottery made by small or single-person businesses in the USA. Please come by the shop or check our pottery section in our online store for current pottery inventory.

We believe terra-cotta (or any type of porous clay pot) is the best material for plants to live in - it allows the root system breathe and maintain proper moisture levels. We always carry a unique inventory of terra-cotta and stoneware pots with drainage holes.

We do ship plants! We ship within the Continental US (excluding Hawaii and Alaska). Due to shipping regulations regarding live plants, we are not able to ship internationally.

Our typical turnaround from time of purchase to day of ship-out is between 5-10 days. We send everything via 2-day shipping through UPS and USPS. Shipping plants is a laborious process that requires lots of care and attention to ensure that your plants get to you as safely and quickly as possible.

If you ordered a plant online and still haven’t received a tracking number, please know we are aware of your order and working to get it packaged and sent out to you! As soon as we do ship it, you can expect a second email from us with a USPS or UPS tracking number.

Oh no! We do everything in our power to pack all our plants and fragile goods with as much thought and care possible, and sometimes during transit they may not be handled as gently as we would hope for. If your plant has been damaged during transit, please let us know asap so we can contact UPS or USPS and work with you to rectify the situation. Please email us at hello@palmandpine.com

We appreciate the many folks who have shown interest in selling their products in our store! Not only do we have limited space, but we also strive to carry very select items that we feel uphold the values and vibes we work hard to curate. The majority of the merchandise we carry is either designed and handmade by us or is very carefully selected by us. Our store is still very small and we don’t often have the space to lend to other artists or makers for now, but hopefully one day we’ll have the space to expand more!

Lindsay does all our graphic design work! She does do freelance logo and design work and would be happy to talk to you about a project you may have in mind. Feel free to email her at lindsay@palmandpine.com

We aren’t right now… thanks so much for asking though! It is absolutely our goal to grow to a size where we can have a full team of employees on board with us… as soon as that happens we will make it known! :)
