Meghan is a long-time resident of Asheville, having graduated from UNCA in 2012 with a degree in human rights policy. She worked in the food and beverage industry for 15 years before co-founding Palm + Pine. Meghan started a personal brand in 2017, offering plant installation and design services to area businesses, as well as selling plant cuttings online via social media. Her horticulture knowledge is self-taught and experience-based; she was a plant buyer for a local plant and flower shop for 2 years and became well-connected with various greenhouses and growers. Meghan has worked in the house plant industry for 4.5 years and is extremely well-networked among plant wholesalers, distributors, and retailers throughout the Southeast.
