Aloe Vera needs lots of bright light. Place in a spot that receives at least 4 hours of sunlight a day.

Give a solid drink of water every 10-14 days in the warmer months; you can withhold water to once every 3-4 weeks in the winter.

If their leaves appear dried out or flat they need more water.
