Beaucarnea Recurvata aka "Pony Tail Palm" is a very resilient, drought tolerant plant that requires little care. They grow best with moderate indirect light but can survive in lower light conditions. 

They like to dry out in between waterings. Water once every 7-10 days in the warmer months as they may dry out faster. Reduce watering to once every 2-3 weeks in the cooler months.
