Spathiphyllum aka "Peace Lily" plants prefer moderate, indirect light and can survive in low light conditions. They are a shade plant and do not tolerate harsh, direct sunlight.

Water about once a week during warmer months. They will let you know when they need water by dropping slightly. They will perk back up after watering. They like to stay evenly moist, but not soggy. Be sure not to overwater or let standing water sit in their pot as they are prone to root rot.

Peace Lillies contain insoluble calcium oxalate crystals which are toxic to animals and can cause severe problems if ingested by pets or children. Even the pollen from the blooms can cause irritation. Do not keep in the house with pets or children that eat or mess with plants!
